Girl Scout Camp Counselor
2008-2012
I worked as a girl scout camp counselor for 4 summers, where I oversaw different groups of 12 campers. It was my first experience being in a leadership role, and blossomed my love for working with younger generations and helping guide and support them.
S.T.E.A.M. After School Robotics Instructor
2017-2018
My role as an after school robotics instructor was my first introduction to leading in the classroom. I was able to work with kids as young as 7 years old, and I fell in love with helping guide and supporting young minds.
Wildflower Preschool Teacher
2018-2021
I have been able to apply my authentic leadership skills to real life through this job. It has been my greatest learning experience as to what kind of leader I am. It has required me to practice both my controller leader discourse and therapist leader discourse, and to understand which situations to best employ them in.
